Bornes - Aravis

Between the Arve river and the Lake Annecy cluse, this mountain lives to the rhythm of logging, dairy cow breeding, cheesemaking and tourism. Its valleys alternate between smiling pastures, chalet villages and typical farming hamlets. The Aravis pastures are the birthplace of Reblochon cheese. At the heart of this stunning landscape of by pastureland and châlets, the "Abondance" bells echo those of the "Tarine" and Beaufortain cattle close by.
