Maurienne - Vanoise

Thanks to the Col du Mont-Cenis (pass), the Maurienne has always welcomed tradesmen, pilgrims, soldiers and travellers with open arms. A thousand years of exchanges have indeed marked the valley, as is clear by its many Baroque and fortified sites. This land of art and history has preserved its secrets and authenticity intact throughout its many picturesque villages.

Savoyard passes sporting legendary names have marked the history of the Tour de France: Iseran, Madeleine, Glandon, Croix de Fer, Galibier, Aravis, Colombière. From Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean, the Routes des Grandes Alpes is a legendary route through the most beautiful passes.
